ALK-2 EVs

EV bioengineered with human ALK-2 receptor

Reference X138

ALK-2 EVs are bioengineered EVs, harbouring human ALK-2 receptor (human Activin receptor-like kinase 2) at their surface using Ciloa’s pilot peptide technology.

Description

ALK-2 EVs, innovative bioengineered EVs harbouring ALK-2 receptor

ALK-2 EVs are produced in human embryonic kidney (HEK) 293T cell line and purified according to in-EV purification process, combining Tangential Flow Filtration and chromatography. Pure ALK-2 EVs are subjected to standardised quality controls showing the total protein content, the number of particles, the EV size distribution, the presence of internal EV markers and the absence of cell protein contaminants. A direct ELISA on pure ALK-2 EVs reveals the CD81 surface marker. Cellular expression of ALK-2 and its sorting with EVs, are given.

Strengths of ALK-2 EVs

o   Purity: in-EV standardised purification process combining Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) and chromatography allows to obtain highly purified EVs.

o   Quality: ALK-2 EVs have been characterised using in-EV standardised quality controls.

o   Storage: ALK-2 EVs are in a simple buffer and are stable at +4°C for several months.

o   Native: ALK-2 receptor expressed in its mature conformation.

o   Many applications: ALK-2 EVs can be used to study molecular interactions with ligands, specific antibodies or small molecules.
